Coelogyne Pandurata - FRAGRANT

Coelogyne pandurata — the moonlight jewel of any orchid collection. Pre-order, these sell out quickly.

Why collectors choose Coelogyne pandurata

• Stunning, sculptural blooms: Large, gracefully reflexed white petals and sepals frame a striking, golden-yellow, hooded lip with intricate brown tracery. Each flower is an elegant statement, simultaneously refined and exotic.

• Fragrance that captivates: Many plants offer a delicate, honeyed citrus scent in the evening and early morning—a sensory signature that elevates any display.

• Long-lasting flowers: Individual blooms persist for several weeks, and healthy plants produce successive blooms along sturdy, arching inflorescences for prolonged enjoyment.

• Collector’s rarity and prestige: Not mass-produced, Coelogyne pandurata remains a prized find for serious growers and discerning decorators seeking something distinctive and memorable.

Growing highlights — attractive to both experienced growers and careful enthusiasts

• Light: Bright, filtered light—morning sun or strong indirect light—brings out best flower form and coloration.

• Temperature: Intermediate to warm conditions suit this species; comfortable daytime warmth with slightly cooler nights encourages flowering.

• Humidity and air movement: High humidity (60–80%) paired with gentle air circulation mirrors its native habitat and keeps foliage healthy.

• Watering and potting: Moist but well-draining media; regular watering during growth with a drier rest after flowering helps maintain vigor.

• Care payoff: With attentive cultural conditions, Coelogyne pandurata rewards growers with show-stopping inflorescences and repeat blooms year after year.
