I have been interested in buying, growing, and reblooming orchids for my home, my backyard and my trees for over 10 years. I first met O'Dowds Orchids about 6 months ago by chance when I responded to an ad on-line. I was shocked at the response from that ad. The shipment came almost immediately; the package was incredibly wrapped and the orchids were mature, either in-bud as they were supposed to be or in-bloom as advertised. They were specular looking and the bloom lasted for months. When I had questions about these or other orchids, Colleen was always there for me - professional, quick, friendly and helpful. I received 2 orders, button fern, rabbit foot fern, and a dendrobium. The first order came with the box almost collapsed. The fern was in good shape and the dendrobium had the stick broken that was so carefully attached to the scape to preserve the buds.. Because of the care from the owner, Colleen O'Dowd, the dendrobium was in good shape and only 2 buds were broken off. The second order containing the button fern came in very good condition due to the care in which the fern was wrapped. I will suggest this vendor to anyone wanting to buy plants online!
